Controls Specialist (Job #CSWEBTX)

Develop solutions to complex client automation problems by providing conceptual and technical expertise. Assist with: Electrical design; DCS/PLC/HMI programming; System Architecture design; System Virtualization; Startup and commissioning and testing systems at our build facility. Assist with project schedules and budgets in collaboration with clients and internal project management resources, ensuring completion of all project deliverables to the satisfaction of the client. Participate in planning sessions with the Branch and Business Development Manager with regard to new proposals and drafting of proposals, and attend client meetings. Interface with customers to provide technical expertise.

· Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or foreign educational equivalent. One year of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Jr. Automation Specialist. Experience must include programming and configuring industrial PLC and DCS controllers, as well as optimizing efficiency and downtime in plant with testing and troubleshooting Control systems hardware malfunctioning, including verification of P&ID, shutdown key and Electrical hardware drawings and testing hardware components of Safety system.
